      <image:title>Angela Saieva - ANGELA SAIEVA</image:title>
<image:caption>Instructor, CEBP Angela Saieva CEBP/CEBI/CETP/CEMT Angela’s love of horses began when she was a little girl. She would do anything to sneak in a moment of being close to one of her father’s thoroughbreds. Whenever she was allowed in the back stretch she would find the best patches of grass and bring it back for them. She was eventually given the gift of weekly riding lessons at the age of eight where she met a beautiful bay quarter horse mare named Poppy. She never smiled bigger than during her barn time every Sunday. Angela spent many years riding and working on farms across the country learning about equine management, breeding, working with stallions and foals, starting young horses and competition training. Her chosen riding discipline is eventing, but her true desire is to be in complete flow with the horse, whether in the saddle or on the ground. But preferably on the beach! Angle holds multiple certifications including Equi-Bow as both a practitioner and instructor, equine kinesiology taping, equine massage therapy and SURE FOOT Stability Pads practitioner. She brings all her experience to her business, Equine Elevation, where she practices bodywork and offers coaching and training services, with a focus on rehabilitation and proper biomechanics. She also offers equine educational programs on a variety of topics for both horse owners and professionals, and is about to launch The Rebel Equestrian Podcast. Angela is passionate about educating and empowering owners to truly be able to see and hear their horses. She believes the best way to support both her equine and human clients is to help them create authentic connections and partnerships based in love and trust. Angela believes whole-heartedly in the power of Equi-Bow and is honoured to be a part of the EB practitioner and teaching team. She looks forward to working with you and being part of your equine educational journey! <image:title>Linzi Sally - LINZI SALLY</image:title>
<image:caption>Instructor, CEBP Linzi fell in love with horses after her first lesson at the age of six, and that love for horses is now stronger than ever! Linzi grew up riding western, competing in showmanship, western pleasure, trail, equitation, horsemanship, barrel racing and pole bending with her appendix quarter horse, “Slip”. She was first introduced to Equi-Bow by her sister Amelia Connolly, an Equi-Bow practitioner in Halton, Ontario. She witnessed the changes in her sister’s horses first hand, and was blow away by the results. After watching a few sessions, Linzi decided that Equi-Bow was the “real deal” and immediately signed up to take the practitioner’s course in October of 2010. Linzi decided to expand her learning and in 2011 also completed both levels of Canine Touch, which often comes in handy with her two great Danes, Caber and Brogan. Linzi lives in the Niagara area with her husband and young daughter. Becoming a certified Equi-Bow practitioner in 2012, Linzi began assisting with Equi-Bow classes, which led to pursuing further training to become an Equi-Bow Instructor. She is currently helping to formalize Equi-Bow Canada’s instructor training protocol. Linzi has always enjoyed teaching and realized at a young age that teaching would be part of her future. She began instructing at the age of 14 with the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, teaching various subjects such as Leadership, Instructional Technique and Effective Speaking. After leaving the Air Cadet program, Linzi became an Officer with the Civilian Instructor’s Cadre where she continued to teach and was the Training Officer with 126 Squadron in Niagara Falls. This military teaching training allowed her to gain a great deal of firsthand experience that helped refine her teaching skills. After completing her undergraduate degree in Physical Education and Kinesiology at Brock University, Linzi attended teacher’s college at Charles Stuart University in Burlington Ontario, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Primary and Junior Education in 2007. Linzi has been teaching in the French Immersion program for nine years now and currently resides in Fort Erie, Ontario with her husband Scott. Learning to become an Equi-Bow practitioner and now an Equi-Bow instructor is one of her greatest accomplishments to date. This journey has taught her how to “think outside the box” and to connect with horses in a very different and significant way. Linzi is thrilled to be part of the Equi-Bow Canada teaching team! <image:caption>Instructor, CEBP, CETP, CECST I was born and raised in the Durham region, playing, learning, and working with horses for 50 years. Starting my first shetland pony when I was only 12yrs old ... bareback! I couldn't afford a saddle back then. I was just appreciative to have my pony!! I worked as a teenager, learned from lessons, and started buying my horses. I have never looked back. Each and every horse, along with all the people that have come into my life because of this passion, have taught me something to take with me on my journey. I enjoyed a modest show career, schooling, AQHA, and Ranch Sorting/Team Penning. I sorted on my mare until she was 22yrs and she loved it. After being in the IT Software industry for 30+ yrs ... hey it fed my bad habits ... I have begun a new practice as an equine bodywork practitioner, certified in Equi-Bow, Equi-Tape, Surefoot®Stability Pads, CranioSacralTherapy. I have experienced the most incredible results over the past couple of years and starting to build up a great portfolio of satisfied clients and their happy, balanced, pain-free horses. I am always looking to expand my knowledge in effort to gain more skills to help my equine clients. I incorporate T-Touch, Masterson Method, plus others. I am also a student of Straightness Training. I really love this method to support the newly found balanced postures of our horses. Equi-Bow protocol has altered my vision on how to work with and help horses become more balanced and moving more functionally correct, which is so important for health and longevity. As both an Equi-Bow Practioner and an Equi-bow Instructor, I am looking forward to being able to share my knowledge and help others help their horses. <image:title>Ashley Stinson - Ashley Stinson Instructor, CEBP, CEMT, CETP</image:title>
<image:caption>From the first moment Ashley set foot in a horse camp as a young child, a lifelong passion for equines was ignited. Sent to the camp to get over her fear of animals, little did anyone know that it would shape the course of Ashley's life. Horses became not just a hobby, but a profound connection that fueled her journey into the world of equine well-being. Ashley's love for horses blossomed into a journey of exploration and achievement. Over the years, she immersed herself in a variety of disciplines, wanting to learn as much as she could about the horse industry. This diverse background not only honed her riding skills but also deepened her understanding of the unique demands placed on horses in a variety of disciplines. Her hands-on approach is infused with a deep understanding of the physical demands placed on horses in different disciplines, allowing her to tailor her bodywork sessions to address the specific needs of each individual horse. Ashley started her bodywork journey to help support her own horses, one being a headshaker and the other recovering from an injury and an idiopathic lameness. Fueling her passion with knowledge, Ashley pursued formal education in equine sciences, anatomy, and bodywork. This commitment to understanding the intricacies of equine physiology led her to acquire certifications in various bodywork techniques ensuring that she could contribute meaningfully to the well-being of her equine partners, as well as her client’s companions. Ashley's philosophy revolves around holistic equine care. She believes that a horse's well-being is a culmination of physical health, mental harmony, and a strong partnership with its rider. Her diverse background in riding and horse care has provided her with a unique perspective, allowing her to connect with horses on a profound level. Equi-Bow is one of her favourite modalities to utilize as it allows her to connect with horses in such a profound way to support the body and its own natural healing and balancing and she is excited to join the Equi-Bow Instructor team and share this amazing modality with others. <image:title>Calla Martin - calla martin Instructor, CEBP</image:title>
<image:caption>Horses are a daily part of her life. I grew up with a barn full of Appaloosas and fell in love with the gentle giants. When she was old enough my parents took turns tucking her in the front of their saddles to tag along with all of the horse activities they did as a family. It didn't take long and she was cattle penning, doing gymkhana, and being involved with the young horses her parents were training. One day after watching a kids movie with a girl and her horse showjumping, she was convinced that she needed to try it. It was then that she started my equestrian career in showjumping. She fell in love. But it was during this time that she reached a frustration point with some horses; she couldn't understand their behaviours to the extent that she wanted to. She always had an innate ability to share empathy with horses, but she still couldn't understand why they sometimes acted the way they did. Deep down she knew it wasn't because they wanted to be mean or difficult; although a lot of traditional training theories said otherwise. She wanted to be more understanding of the horses she worked with. To know if their behaviours were triggered by mental or physical distress and be able to share her knowledge. After completing an initial Diploma in Animal Science Technology, she moved to the United States, where she started an Equine Science Degree program at the University of Kentucky. While she was there she competed on the Western Equestrian Team at UK. She then transferred to Colorado State University in Fort Collins. She had the opportunity to work at multiple show barns with world-class horses in both Kentucky and Colorado. Her move back to Alberta in 2015 brought her back to my roots; to create a community of equine education here in Western Canada. Through her pursuit to learn she found Equi-Bow.
