MEET THE INSTRUCTOR

Ashley Stinson

Instructor, CEBP, CEMT, CETP

From the first moment Ashley set foot in a horse camp as a young child, a lifelong passion for equines was ignited. Sent to the camp to get over her fear of animals, little did anyone know that it would shape the course of Ashley's life. Horses became not just a hobby, but a profound connection that fueled her journey into the world of equine well-being.

Ashley's love for horses blossomed into a journey of exploration and achievement. Over the years, she immersed herself in a variety of disciplines, wanting to learn as much as she could about the horse industry. This diverse background not only honed her riding skills but also deepened her understanding of the unique demands placed on horses in a variety of disciplines. Her hands-on approach is infused with a deep understanding of the physical demands placed on horses in different disciplines, allowing her to tailor her bodywork sessions to address the specific needs of each individual horse.

Ashley started her bodywork journey to help support her own horses, one being a headshaker and the other recovering from an injury and an idiopathic lameness. Fueling her passion with knowledge, Ashley pursued formal education in equine sciences, anatomy, and bodywork. This commitment to understanding the intricacies of equine physiology led her to acquire certifications in various bodywork techniques ensuring that she could contribute meaningfully to the well-being of her equine partners, as well as her client’s companions.

Ashley's philosophy revolves around holistic equine care. She believes that a horse's well-being is a culmination of physical health, mental harmony, and a strong partnership with its rider. Her diverse background in riding and horse care has provided her with a unique perspective, allowing her to connect with horses on a profound level.

Equi-Bow is one of her favourite modalities to utilize as it allows her to connect with horses in such a profound way to support the body and its own natural healing and balancing and she is excited to join the Equi-Bow Instructor team and share this amazing modality with others.
